As part of this week’s visit by students from partner schools, our guests took part in a variety of engaging activities. This morning, together with librarian Leonila Marač, the students helped clean the recently renovated school park. “While cleaning the park, we noticed a few things we could improve, like adding more trash bins,” said Maša Šverko, a third-year student.

After the cleaning, it was time for lunch and playing board games. Later, in the computer lab, the students worked on their projects. “Our projects are related to marine ecology,” emphasized Maša. The participants also tackled some fun challenges about the city of Rijeka, which were planned to be completed on Friday. We believe everyone will enjoy the Kahoot! quiz about our city and will fondly remember the wonderful moments they spent here.

“As part of the Erasmus+ project today at 2 p.m., where Marta Marija Gržić and Dr. Igor Ružić gave lectures on the sea and coastal vulnerability. They discussed the increasingly frequent floods, and the Rječina Canyon area. These topics are closely related to climate change and the rise in sea levels. I hope the lectures were interesting and useful to our guests,“ said teacher Renata Radan.
